Oct. 10. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to all !

Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!
We visited nearby Crimson Lake in the late afternoon and enjoyed the mild weather, the pretty sunset over the water and the quiet and tranquility of the lake. And yes, long before Christmas, this lake will be frozen solid to to on with skates. For now, most waterbirds have left for the South, the loons will return in spring. The loon's song is so beautiful, if you haven't heard it yet, look it up on YouTube.
The campground in the forest at Crimson Lake is very quiet now too, but in summer lots of people love the nice campsites and all the trails near and around Crimson Lake as well as leading to Twin Lakes.

  3. There is no fishing at Crimson Lake (5 min from our B&B at the ranch), but Twin Lakes offers fishing ( 10 minutes from our B&B at the ranch)
