We went to check on a newborn Longhorn calf that was born in the valley. We spoted the mom walk away from the herd, lay down and having a calf. The little one is doing good. Nearby was a big coyote, so we run the horses towards him to chase him away. After checking on a couple of gates and a stretch of fence. The sun was out, its drying up and a tiny bit of green grass is showing. A real nice spring day. We had a spit of snow again last Friday morning, but it was gone a few hours later.
